Take a boat to St. Francis Island in the middle of Lago di Trasimeno or more locally, walk the trails up to Monte Cetona. The more adventurous may opt to explore the ins and outs of the Val d'Orcia countryside astride the back of a Harley. There are also many horseback riding, hiking and biking opportunities in the area to choose from.
Take your family on a barchetto ride down the Arno River or in a hot air balloon over the vineyards of Chianti. Learn the art of traditional pizza-making in your own backyard, or take on the challenge of finding the 'best gelato' in southern Tuscany. Craft workshops and other special events can also be arranged for your children.
Outlets for designer clothing are nearby and exceptional finds of all kinds can be discovered with a personal shopper in Florence and Rome.
Of course, you’ll want to plan time to enjoy your villa. We can arrange private wine- and cheese-tasting with a professional sommelier, cooking lessons, theme parties and massages, all in the privacy of Villa La Rocca.
